A DIN Relay or a Web Switch, a product from Digital Loggers, is a piece of hardware containing 8 relays that can be operated independent of each other. It has an internal web server which allows to manipulate the states of any the 8 relays as well as read the state of all of them via HTTP. It is accessible from any standard web browser
The software interfaces to a DIN Relay and to a Web Switch are identical. Within SAFO, both type of products are used interchangeably, although we usually refer to them as “DIN Relays”.
SAFO allows access to set/reset any of the relays, and the display of their states. Due to communication with a remote device it takes a moment for the display of the status of the relays to be updated.
SAFO does not allow any other access to the DIN Relay than just to the relays as described above. For any other purpose (admin setup etc) a regular web browser needs to be used.
