4.1.2 DIN Relay Group

DIN Relay Groups are a way do address one or more relays of the 8 DIN Relays as a group. For instance, the 8 relays may be divided into 2 groups with 4 relays each, and while they are all part of the whole DIN Relay box, each operates independent of each other. 4 relays may control one air conditioning unit, so they can be placed together in one group, while the other 4 are assign to a different unit. Templates can be used to predefine groups, e.g. which of the sub relays are used for which purpose. For actual groups data can be copied from templates and the user needs just to complete information which DIN Relay will be used.

The individual relays selected in one group must be belong to the same Din Relay. SAFO does not allow to build groups of single relays spread across different DIN Relay units.
