General Groups are just a list of other objects maintained within SAFO. The purpose is simply to organize things that belong together. For instance, one wants have to access everything for one air conditioning unit in one place, e.g. all temperature file (groups) and Din Relay Sub Groups. Those elements can be viewed in the main window, if the group has been made “viewable” there, and all the elements in the group have been placed in the proper location within the view.
