7.3 How to setup graphic displays of past temperature value

For the display of past temperature values of just one temperature file you can just hit the “Show History” button in the Detailed Temperature File Window.

To setup the necessary data and linkages to use the capability to display history of temperature values in a graphic you need to do the following:

  • Create a temperature file group that contains all temperature files you want to consider to be included in one graphic (e.g. room, suction, friction/liquid, top associated with one air conditioning unit).

  • For each of of the temperature file to be included, select the color to be used to represent that file in the display within the detailed data of each temperature file.

If you click the button “Show History” you should be able to see graphs of past temperature values for times those data have been selected. See here for more information.

You can continue to setup graphs for several groups in one display by continuing this way:

  • In the temperature file group just created, enter a name in the description field (this is used to identify this particular graph to distinguish it from others).

  • Enter a value in the field “Loc G Display” as a placement of this graph in the whole display (it is recommended to enter values to be different for each group to keep them apart, e.g. 0, 50, 100, 150,…).

You can now see the results from the main screen menu item “Admin” → “Tools” → “Temp Graphs”, again for the past temperature values for times those data have been selected, but now for all temperature file groups that you have created.

It is possible to create images you can click on like you can to switch to another view or enter detailed scheduling panels. For that you need the following:

  • Create a group with just one group item which should be the temperature file group created above.

  • Create a special, where you select the function “Temperature Graphs” and point to the new group just created.

  • Within the special select the “Display Properties” from where you can select the image you want to use and where to place that image.

With this special you can now click on the image to show a graphic representation of past temperature values of this temperature file group.
