If you hit “Set Position”, the focus will turn over to the main SAFO screen that shows the current view with grid lines. All you need to do is to click on a square grid element and the object will be placed right there. You can repeat this as often as you like, even if you temporarily switch the focus to another window – as long as the main screen is still “hot” to accept clicks for a new position.
If you are satisfied with the new location of the object, you need to make sure that the location is “fixed” as to prevent any accidental movements while the main panel is still “hot”. You can do this by clicking the “Keep it” button in the detailed window, close the detailed window, or activate the “Set Position” procedure for a different object.
You can switch back to the detailed window either directly (window’s taskbar etc) or by hitting the <ESC> key while in the main window.
If you have other similar views where you like to place the same object, you can hit the “Same Pos in other views” button. A dialog box window will prompt you through all available views for which you can specify whether you want to place the same object at the same location or not (you can later move the object there to a different location if needed).
The button “Delete this from View” will delete the object from the current view in the main panel. If you need to delete it from other views, you need to switch to the other view where the object still resides before hitting this Delete button here again.
